The festive fervor of October gave way to November which called for a wardrobe upgrade as the mornings got cold. Our little ones needed more attention so as not to get caught up with the weather change. Their mornings started with your warm hugs to keep them snug through the day, fueling them for a day filled with positive energy. The early childhood years demand a stimulating environment, with emphasis on exploration, individual attention, free expression, and loads of love and care which we ensure through our Quality Circle Time lessons. The educators created awareness about Guru Purab and Constitution Day during QCT. The children were made aware of the Constitution Day through an age appropriate video, followed by an explanation. The educators staged an exclusive surprise for all their students. This time it was the teachers who rehearsed and practiced their lines for the assembly to celebrate the precious gems. Yes, the educators brought together a Special Children’s Day assembly beginning with the customary prayer, thought-for-the-day and the news headlines. The children were enthused to see their teachers, dance and sing like kids giving voice to the little child in all of us. The Children were thrilled to see the Mime act by the Drama teacher. The group song and group dance by the teachers, which included our beloved principal Ma’am too, were the show stoppers of the day and imbued our exceptional audience with great joy. They got their brains tickled through a game of ‘Pehchan Kaun’. English Literature |
